Artist talk at UBC Okanagan

Canadian rockstar-printmaker Briar Craig invited me to stop in for an artist talk to his printmaking students at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna, BC on October 20th. During my visit to the UBCO printmaking facilities in May I enjoyed a few very productive work days there and was pleased to be invited back for an artist talk. My husband Scott attended and took some photos.

Scott and I are in the same place for the first time in a month. SO EXCITING!

We celebrated with a hike around this canyon, what a beautiful place.

Hello UBCO!

After a 25 minute - powerpoint- whirlwind I showed a lot of the actual prints.

Pointing things out about carefully composed imagery.

Awesome group of students, lots of questions and much interest.

This is me hanging out with Ogopogo,
oh yes, Okanagan Lake has it's own version of Nessy. ;)
Bye Kelowna! Until next time!

Special thanks to Briar Craig, Orie, and of course the crazy Boo.
