Canada Day - Alderney Landing Boardwalk event

On Canada Day this year I spent 5 hours outside on the harbour front at Alderney Landing screen printing with the public in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Women's suffrage movement in Canada. I created two images for this event, one depicting 3 of the famous 5, with the slogan "Votes for Women" and one with the slogan "Women are Persons". I was amazed how many adults asked me questions about this, who didn't know what women's suffrage was.

Thank you to Gabriella who spent the day with me printing and fighting against the sun drying out our screens. Thank you to Lee Cripps for inviting me to be part of the event, it was fun as always!

The rocks prevented the drying prints from flying away!
