Business trip
Last weekend Scott and I loaded the car with some catalogs, some fine art, our camping supplies and a list of galleries. We left at 6 AM and drove to St. John, NB with the goal to find me gallery representation.
Our very first stop was Citadel Gallery. And just like that our very first stop was a success.
VERY very very very excited about Citadel Gallery
After our immediate success we went for a stroll around St. John, since we had never been downtown before. Sure like all the brick architecture.
It's a fountain, with a roof and a stage above it.
Portraits.
Scott is mingling with the sculptures you find all over the waterfront area.
Moose.
Then we drove on to Fredericton, NB. And visited Gallery 78 which is such a great building!
And as if they knew I am teaching etching this semester it was the last day to see their Print exhibition which was primarily Intaglio. Very exciting. Even Scott looked like a kid in the candy store looking at all the prints.
After Fredericton we camped at the Mactaquac Provincial Park for the night.
And drove back home the next day. Before making it to Nova Scotia though we stopped in Moncton, NB.

The first mayor of Moncton.
Artisan Village, Scott got to try on a 15lb chain mail hat.
And we discovered this crazy all mosaic car.
It was a very exciting trip. We saw lots of great art, met some interesting people and got my work represented by another gallery. Where to next? A few places we have our eye on is: St. John's, NL, Portland, Maine, and Atlanta (around Christmas).
