Val David - Round #4 Days 1-4

This time I came to the Atelier de l'Ile with a solid plan, to - do list and idea of what I am going to work on. "Round 3" was frustrating because I came without the above listed things and didn't get as much done because of it. Anywas... Lots of productiveness, I'm so exhausted but it's the really good kind of exhaustion. I finished my Christmas cards for this year, so over the next 2-3 weeks those will be sent out. If anyone who moved and has a new address I don't know about, sent me an email so you will receive the card too. :) This year it's "different" very different than the past 2 years. I'll post photos after I sent them out.
Anyways, whatelse have I done this weekend? I continued experimenting with my pattern prints and layering more and more. I finished the litho stone drawing I started last time, and printed it today. I brought my 2x8 ft linocut to Val David, it's AMAZING to have a table that is LONG ENOUGH to hold it! Makes working on it so much easier! I made serious progess carving the miniscule detail and drawing the rest of the block, i am hoping to finish the drawing itself during the next day and a half.
I worked on more pages in the Arthouse sketchbook for the sketchbook library project. I'm going to have to focuss on that like crazy over the next month, since it's due January 4rth. Which isn't that long, and that sketchbook has a lot of pages!
I also decided today that it's time to research galleries in Germany. It's kind of ridiculous that I haven't exhibited in my home country.
Alrighty here are some pictures:
Wet stone during the printing.

The first print on good paper.

My endless linocut, I keep running out of sharpies so the drawing looks a bit ridiculous, but it get's the job done. Afterall the carving is all that matters in the end.

Ridiculously detailed carving.

Carving this section took me 14 hours.
