Letterpress workshops
Hello! I just survived quite the intense weekend. Saturday I taught 2 very intense 4-5 hour Letterpress workshops and Sunday one more that ended up stretching into 6 hours. Sarah from Concordia's Design department hired me to teach her students Linocut and Typesetting on the Vandercook Letterpress. It was a lot of fun!
So here some photos from the Sunday workshop. Explaining to the students how to lock the blocks into the press.
How to make an impression.. First round was blind embossment, after that we inked up the blocks.
One assembled set of 9 blocks.
Ink- demo.

How to ink blocks with a larger roller.
