love where you are taking your new work. It has a fibrous, cellular quality that is really well considered and thought provoking. I am going to snatch up some notecards on Etsy, too. I love the red print on the rice paper...wow!!!
thank you leah. The doodle-off gave me the opportunity to work on my ideas for my prints and to work them out in drawing until they turn into something new and better.. i'm exploring the body interior right now.. but instead of taking references from anatomy books and images i let my imagination guide me.. which is quite a new thing for me to explore. So a lot of the doodles are a result of me thinking about what do i imagine "the inside" to be like.. what does it feel like, can i actually feel it?.. etc.. Sofar I have come to the conclusion that it's a lot of textures... and layers ... etc. but this will probably evolve more over the next few months. :)
